The Abu Dhabi Book Fair (ADIBF 2021) took place from May 23 to 29, 2021 as a hybrid event (combination of face-to-face and online encounters). Integrated in the German Pavilion we were represented on site in Abu Dhabi.
We had the honour to officially present one of our fine art facsimile sheet from our series “Masterpieces of Islamic Book Art” to the crown prince’s son Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan (Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Office and the Chairman of the Executive Committee in the United Arab Emirates). The ceremonial award was carried out by Ms. Claudia Kaiser (Vice President of the Frankfurter Buchmesse) and in the presence of the German Ambassador Ernst Peter Fischer.
The Abu Dhabi Book Fair is considered one of the fastest growing book events in the Middle East and North Africa.
